I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Los Angeles, CA. I work with individuals, couples and adolescents dealing with a wide array of issues. I graduated from Antioch University with a Masters in Clinical Psychology; in addition to my private practice, I have worked at Clearview Treatment Center and the Southern California Counseling center where I currently supervise MFT interns in both group and individual settings. My experience is in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, various kinds of addiction, axis II disorders, self-harming behaviors, and general dissatisfaction with life, work, and relationships. I am also trained in EMDR and the Trauma Resiliency Model, both of which have been proven to be very effective in the treatment of trauma, and may at times incorporate these therapies into our work.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from different therapeutic models depending on what I believe will be most helpful to my client. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the arts and as a Yoga instructor; I continue to enjoy working with artists and incorporating aspects of my Yoga studies when appropriate (in particular, mindfulness work and somatic awareness). I strive to accept and embrace my clients as they are, validating the difficulties they may be having, while at the same time urging them to take the challenging steps toward whatever it is they say they want and need. Indeed, I believe that walking a fine line between validation and encouragement is what best promotes healing and change.
